Alloy Lifting and Rigging Chain, Grade 100, Grade 80 and Grade 50 Stainless Chain.
Alloy chain is durable, versatile, high-strength, low-weight chain manufactured from special analysis alloy steel. It is quenched and tempered before proof testing and the ultimate tensile strength is over twice that of ordinary steel chain. Tensile strength following heat treatment meets or exceeds all existing OSHA, Government, NACM and ASTM guidelines.
Large diameter grade 80 alloy chain is also available upon request. Sizes available are 1-1/2", 1-3/4", and 2”. Click here to request large diameter grade 80 alloy chain.
Lifting & Rigging Chains are used in the following industries: Military, Agriculture & Forestry, Aerospace, Automotive, Bridge Building, Highway and Street Construction, Heavy Equipment Assembly, Factory Manufacturing, Primary Metal Manufacturing, Steel Fabrication, Oil & Gas, Rail and Utilities including Power, Water, Sewer & Pipe.
Grade 100 chain, similar to the Grade 80 chain, is commonly used for overhead lifting applications because of its excellent energy absorption properties; however Grade 100 chain has the greatest strength to weight ratio of the alloy chains. Peerless grade 100 chain and components meet the latest guidelines of the National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM). ASTM A952/A952M and ASTM A973/A973M. For fast identification, Peerless Grade 100 chain is embossed USA and stamped P10. For quality control, Peerless chain is date coded for easy trace-ability.
Peerless Grade 80 chain meets the latest guidelines of the National Association of Chain Manufacturers (NACM) and ASTM A391/A391M. This is in line with the higher 4-to-1 design factor required by the International Standards Organization (ISO). For fast identification, Peerless Grade 80 chain is embossed USA and stamped P8. For quality control purposes, Peerless chain is date coded for easy traceability.
