Its hydraulic design lifts the deck via a "raise" button (460V 3-phase), with the lip extending at full height. Releasing the button lowers it to the trailer, secured by a red stop button. When the truck departs, it drops, hits the limit switch, and returns to cross-traffic position, featuring telescopic toe guards and two bumpers across a +/- 12" service range.
