Edge-O-Dock Levelers
The Edge-O-Dock leveler permanently attaches to the face of the dock and is recommended for docks at least 48 inches high. When the trailer departs, the lip drops automatically behind the face of the bumpers. Concrete recess is not required. The leveler includes 2" x 8" x 18" bumpers and installation instructions. Standard ramping is 29 inches (29-13/16" with 30,000 lb. capacity) with a 36-5/8" ramping length available for smaller grade. Proper installation requires a steel dock edge, approach ramp, or approach plate on the dock face and a continuous weld across the top and down both sides of the mounting plate. Additionally, the mounting plate must be bolted to the dock face via the anchor holes provided.
Mechanical Edge-O-Dock
Operated by placing the actuation handle into the pocket of the inner lip and pulling down toward the floor. The operator pushes the handle forward until the lip rests on the truck bed. As the trailer departs, the lip retracts behind the bumper face automatically.
Manual Hydraulic Hand Pump
Uses a hand pump system to lift the leveler and extend the lip. The operator actuates the lowering valve, allowing the deck to descend and rest upon the trailer. The unit includes a hand pump, wall-mount brackets, cylinder, 15 feet of hydraulic line, and oil. The truck must pull out for the leveler to return to the stored position.
Electric Hydraulic Edge-O-Dock
The easiest to operate, the electric hydraulic model raises the leveler and extends the lip by pushing and holding the control button. It operates on 115V, 1-phase power. The unit includes a motor, pump, control box, cylinder, lines, and oil. The truck must pull out for the leveler to return to the stored position.
